# Is there new software for the QA403?

I’ve seen posts here on the forum and videos on YouTube indicating that there’s software that’s apparently a bit more user-friendly (not the program made by other developers). The buttons are on the right side and look more like the buttons on an actual measuring device. In the latest software version 1.224, everything looks the same as before —in the screenshots and here in the forum— but in version 1.23, the buttons look different.

Is this a beta or an older version from a different programmer, or did I simply overlook something?

ver. 1.23 is for QA400, old hardware.
