Hi all,
Today I went to test one of my circuits and noticed that my QA-403 has dead time in the signal generation. This happens on both gen1 and gen2, at any frequency, and connected to a load or no load.
Is this a setting I am missing or could my hardware be malfunctioning?
Hi LFAudio, this is normal behaviour. The QA40x generator outputs a burst during the acquisition and mutes the output until the next acquisition. Nothing to worry about.
Ok, thank you. This was the first time I’ve seen this behavior on the unit, prior o-scope tests seem to be fully continuous.
You can activate the IDLE button for generating a continuous output signal.
