Hi all…
Been awhile..
As TSA just dropped my Audio precision for the 2nd time!! I’m really trying to use my Q403 for travel analytics. Having an issue with higher frequency measurements.
As shown in fig 1 you can see a 16k signal is right on at +4 Dbu. Left is device under test and right is a loop through. I’m an in balanced operation. In fig 2 you can see that my signal ant 20khz all but goes away on both channels! I know for a fact that the Device under test goes out to at least 85khz! So trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated…
Fig 1 16 kHz level at +4
Fig 2 20khz level wayyyy down!
Hi @skipburrows. One question: I see that in fig. 2, gen1 is set to 25.398KHz. Did you remember to set “Measurements stop Frequency” in “RMS Measurement Options” to at least about 26KHz or more?
Yes,! Thank you so much I forgot to write click on that measurement and set what that shows. I’m such an idiot. Thanks a bunch. I’m really trying to use this box but I keep having to go back to my audio precision. I really don’t wanna travel with it anymore as the TSA has gotten rather clumsy of late. I just wish that the output impedance was lower say around 50 ohms! That would really make life a lot easier on me. Thanks for your reply I really appreciate it.
