I like to do a polarity measurement of a multichannel amp with tractor to be sure all cabeling is right.
Is there a way to perform this measurement?
Thanks
Hi @passmedien, you should be able to do this in Tractor Mic test. This will do a sweep and compare it to a reference channel (right channel). This is outlined at the link below. But I think there should be a more direct test where you play a single cycle of a waveform, and from that learn if in-phase or out-of-phase. What HW are you working on?
Hi @matt . I try to do it with Mic Testing but didn´t get ist runing.
I´m using a QA402 and I´m able to see the polarity in the time domain. But it would be great to automate the test
Hi @matt do you have any other idea for polarity testing in Tractor?
Testing the Phase is not a good solution because I need the right channel.
Could you als define a mask in the time domain?
