Will the QA403 measure SINAD from the audio output of a radio receiver?
Hi @RoyMercer, SINAD and THDN are pretty much the same, just inverted. So, a THD+N of -100 is an SINAD of 100. The QA40x computes THD+N, but not SINAD. Now, for ADC and DAC semiconductor folks, SINAD usually implies a bandwidth of 0 to Nyquist, but not always. But if the bandwidths are the same, the terms SINAND and THDN are interchangeable, just invert the sign.
