@matt I bought a 1kHz notch with built in 20db gain. I cant characterize the notch filter without the gain being applied.
When I characterize the notch on the qa402, do I treat it the same way as a passive notch but then when using it, put the 20db gain in the dbv button menu?
When measuring the noise floor of the notch do I just connect to the qa402, short the notch inputs and read rms dbv or there also do I need to put the 20db gain in the dbv button menu? Thx
