I’m interested in using the Acquisition feature to play back a .wav file, while simultaneously recording the response through the DUT. It’s a simple sine 250ms silence 750ms .wav file. I can get it to playback either through right clicking on run and loading the file there or through using the REST API. However the application doesn’t seem to update the input while using Audition. Is there something I’m missing or is this not a feature that can be done?
Also alternatively if there’s a way to make the sine generator closer to a singular sine pulse that would also be another way to do it.
Hi @Isaac, @restorer-john is correct that Audition is for playback only. If your aim is to capture what you are playing, you could probably use triggered acq for that. Alternately, if you are using the REST api, can you playback an arbitrary signal you create and capture at the same time. But note the analysis doesn’t mean much if the buffer isn’t a full buffer of a sine.
What exactly are you hoping to measure? Perhaps a compressor response? If so, you might try the Amp Dynamics plug-in
