It dawned on me while measuring the Phono stage of a preamp, that it would be nice to have the (HiRes) RIAA weighting as a button tab instead of “C” weighting, which I have never used. Maybe this could be set under preferences? Maybe the “C” weighting is used by folks more ?
I like it the way it is as I use A+C, but the option to rename a user button would be cool. That way you could call user-1 or user-2 whatever you want, like ‘RIAA’… 
@restorer-john- The option of assigning user 1 or 2 to RIAA would be ideal, thinking about it some more. The only time I use C weighting is on my Realistic SPL meter 
I have never seen anything but A weighting on the specs of the gear I test- but possibly those that test microphones may use it… Not that @matt doesn’t have enough things on his plate..

Yes, that would be good. Some fo the names for filters can be long, so maybe you hover over it and the full name reveals itself??

I think the hover option is fine, but “RIAA” (I am only considering the playback since I have never used the record) should fit nicely

May be also some drop-down lists showing weightings / filters put inside a folder with file names / custom names
