TSP Measurement with QA403 release 1.223 - Issues

first I wanted to thank Matt for the new 1.223 release for the QA403. I have only tested the updated “SPKR Impedance” from the “Automated Tests” menu so far.

With release 1.223 the results of the TSP measurement seem ok, Fs, Qts and Vas are all within the expected tolerance of the Audax HM210G6 loudspeaker chassis.

There are still two issues which need some investigation:

  1. When the SPKR Impedance test finishes, the HTML Report is correctly generated but the QA40x Graph window shows an error message. The QA40x application needs to be relaunched to start any other measurements.

  2. The impedance Zmax for the first and for the added mass measurements are a little less than 50% of the corresponding values measured with the 1.222 release. I used the same setup (QA403 + QA461) for my measurements.

While the first problem is a showstopper, the second just does not give me full trust in the test.

Update:

I have ran some other automated tests such as frequency response and the graph window did not show the error message. The problem with the speaker impedance test is consistent, each time I ran the test.
