Im new to using the Qa403 for testing amps. I saw it has a visualizer for wow and flutter. I was wondering how to set it up for NAB, JIS, CCIR, or DIN weighting? It would be cool if there could someday be a checkbox to select which weighting standard, if that is the right terminology.
The Qa403 is really a cool unit!
I believe the current output is unweighted.
I haven’t compared the QA403 W&F visualizer to my standalone W&F meter. It has all the weightings, and separates wow and flutter, peak and RMS.
Any new update regarding the Wow & Flutter tool?
I remember having read here a thread about a possible update of the tools…
I use it a lot when I create calibration reports for my cassettes and Reel-to-reel decks. Unfortunately, I am unable to find the corresponding values the tool report versus the multitude specifications of manufacturers.
I know that the tool give unweighted values, but witch one between:
- peak (DIN/IEC/ANSI unweighted)
- RMS (JIS/IEC/NAB weighted)
??
