Installing QA403

cannot install Q1403 software on Ubuntu

Installing QA403 software on 64 bit Linux. It is suggested to run under “mono”.
The only download that I could find that has an .exe is “setup_QA40x_1.220.exe”.

Mono on Ubuntu only runs 64bit .exe. Setup_QA40x_1.220.exe is a 32 bit *.exe.

So, I think I need a QA40x.exe that can be downloaded. –doug

Hi @Doug, yes, you’d need to run the exe on a Windows machine (or maybe Wine?) to get the file structure, and then copy that file structure (including EXE and data files) to Linux. And then you’d need to follow the steps on the wiki for telling linux about the USB VID:PID, etc. I don’t know currently where the operation on Linux stands. But please report back if you can. Thanks
