Is it possible to use the QA403 with common steaming apps as a DA converter

Hi guys,

My first question on the QA403. Reading that the 403 has direct interface to the proprietary software, is it still possible to use it as a common D/A converter for use with Youtube, Spotify and other common streaming apps? I also use REW for acoustic and speaker analysis, will that work with the 403?

Hi @SAScholl, the QA403 will not work as a normal USB audio device. The big problem is that there are 4 output levels set by hardware, and 8 inputs levels set hardware. And if the host device doesn’t know about all the relays in the QA403, it gets kind of messy quickly. Additionally, the QA403 has calibration data in flash, and that needs to be applied by the application.
