Hello
I am new on QA403 testing, and would like to know if there is a way to record a (long) QA403 output signal in a .wav file, meaning between 1 and 2 minutes.
I tried the Export Data menu and get only around 1 second of signal in the .wav file.
Thanks
Hi @Fabrice, the wave that is exported will depend on the size of the FFT. For example, if you have a 32K fft selected and a 48K sample rate, then that is 32768/48000=682 mS.
The largest FFT is 1M, so that would yield a 2^20/48k =21.8 seconds.
But, if you just need a clean sine wave file, try an app like Audacity. It will do precisely what you need, AND it will do it for any length. It’s good to have a directory some place on your machine with a collection of sine waves at -1 dBFS, -10 dBFS, etc.
